In February 2011, we rejoined Ken and Susy at their new Iron Horse Equestrian Complex and as cliche as it sounds, we honestly couldn't be happier with our decision. After being away for just over 2 years we were unsure of how the transition would affect both our horse Nala, and my daughters Amanda and Maila. However, from the moment we set foot on the property, we were met with the open arms of friendly boarders and a well informed group of staff. Even Ken and Susy took time out of their hectic routines to stop by to check in on us and offer assistance. The girls rekindled friendships and Nala took to her stall much like a kid in a candy store. Even today, 8 months later, the staff, boarders and parents are are as genuine as the first day we moved in!

The Iron Horse property is spectacular. With numerous indoor and outdoor riding arenas to choose from or the stunning trails available to just go out on a relaxing hack with your equine friend, you'll never find yourself stuck with no where to ride. All of the arenas, including both indoor and outdoor, are consistently monitored and maintained. I've never had to worry about poor footing for our horses and what a relief it is to not have to go home after watching a lesson, covered in arena dirt that's fomed clouds around the horse and rider and instructors.

The instructors are top notch! They all have many years of experience to their credit and their passion for teaching is evident in each of their classes. Never pushing a student beyond their means or comfort level and always ensuring safety is the number one priority for both the horse and rider. For those riders who simply like to participate in lessons to accomplish their own personal goals or for those who aspire to be in the show ring, all the instructors are very professional, accommodating and there is never any pressure to do anything more than what you desire.

Each and every equine on the property, both school horses and privately owned, are handled equally and with respect. The staff work tirelessly and most importantly, as a team to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Having personally experienced working and managing within a barn environment, I have both an appreciation for the effort required to do this type of job as well as a behind the scenes understanding of what it takes to do things right. This team is truly deserving of an A++

We've had several experiences with other equestrian facilities and while there are many good things that can be said for each, none bring it all together into complete package the way that Iron Horse Equestrian does.
